NJ's BEST Bagels

We all know that New Jersey has better bagels than New York, but who sells the best bagels? I mean, that's a pretty tough decision to make. Each Jersey town has at least two rival bagel shops. Your closest friends might not even like your favorite bagel shop. But it's time to define, once and for all, the state's best bagel. At Grub Gazette headquarters, we've decided to adopt that responsibility. Always unpaid, unsponsored, and unbiased, we will not stop searching for the perfect bagel. So, what are we looking for? Our criteria is being condensed into the BEST acronym, as seen here:

B - Boiled & Baked, to form small, airy bubbles, the way a bagel should be

E - Elaborate flavor, nice but not-too-yeasty, with a hint of salt

S - Shape, a fairly round ring, with an observable hole in the center

T - Texture, should be a crisp, but not hard, chewy exterior with a soft, pillowy center
